COLLABORATION WITH EU FUNDED PROJECTS

LETSCROWD
operates in a competitive and fast-paced field with several players working on similar problems, and hence benefits from adoption of standards to generate economy of scale and agreement on implementations.

LETSCROWD activities include actions related to communications, cooperation and on-going exchanges with related research efforts, including liaisons with EU-funded research projects and networks of excellence, as well as research initiatives going beyond European boundaries.

Here is a list of projects that collaborate with LETSCROWD and that have similar objectives.

PROPHETS – Preventing Radicalisation Online through the Proliferation of Harmonised ToolkitS
PROPHETS aims to counter online radicalisation, cybercrime, and cyberterrorism at their origins.
Behavioural radicalisation can be seen as a driving force behind online criminal activities. PROPHETS seeks to identify, examine, and understand the various behavioural processes underlying such behaviour in order to recognize and comprehend the individual reasoning behind choosing to engage in such activities.
Through the findings of this project, PROPHETS is developing new methods to detect, analyse, investigate, and fight the ever-emerging threats of online radicalisation, cybercrime, and cyberterrorism by addressing the very factors causing them. Moreover, the project offers a unique real-world impact by fulfilling the following objectives:

  • Understanding Online Material
  • Identifying Underlying Psychological Traits
  • Recognising Ethical, Moral and Legal Concerns
  • Exploring Cybercrime as a Service
  • Online Awareness, Capacity and Resilience Building
  • Tools to Enhance Capabilities and Counter Radical Behaviours
  • Policy Shaping, Training and Public Engagement

The CONNEXIONs solution encompasses the entire lifecycle of law enforcement operations including:

  1. Pre-occurrence crime prediction and prevention
  2. During-occurrence LEA operations

DOGANA – aDvanced sOcial enGineering And vulNerability Assesment
The advent of Social Networks has made both companies and public bodies tremendously exposed to the so-called Social Engineering 2.0, and thus prone to targeted cyber-attacks.
Unfortunately, there is currently no solution available on the market that allows neither the comprehensive assessment of Social Vulnerabilities nor the management and reduction of the associated risk.
DOGANA aims to fill this gap by developing a framework that delivers “aDvanced sOcial enGineering And vulNerability Assessment”.
DOGANA and LETSCROWD share a common interest for legal information gathering in the internet.
