Socio-cultural aspects in the prevention and management of emergencies, Italian conference in Rome

By Alessia Golfetti and Sabina Giorgi, Deep Blue. July 11, 2019. The main findings from three EU projects (LETSCROWD, IMPACT and DARWIN) were shared with key stakeholders in the field of emergency management.
External keynotes from the Italian Civil protection and the Italian Marathon club opened the conference “Aspetti socio-culturali nella prevenzione e gestione delle emergenze” (Socio-cultural aspects in the prevention and management of emergencies), organized in Rome by Deep Blue.
Then Carlo Dambra from Zenabyte gave a presentation on the dynamic risk assessment methodology developed within the LETSCROWD project while Luca Save presented the communication resilience guidelines developed within Darwin project.
During the final session of the conference Deep Blue presented the LETSCROWD communication toolkit: “How to communicate with multicultural crowds in mass gatherings”.
