The “Crowd counting and density estimation” is useful for real-time estimation of crowd size and detection of related anomalous behaviours, e.g.: overcrowding with respect to an user-defined threshold, sudden increase or decrease of crowd size.
The “Attribute-based people search” allows to search in several recorded videos for individuals who match an attribute profile of clothing appearance (e.g., colours), gender, carried items.

The “appearance-based person re-identification” allows to search for an individual of interest in several recorded videos, based on clothing appearance, using an image as a query.

LETSCROWD results at 14th Meeting of the Community of Users on Secure, Safe, Resilient Societies, Brussels
September 18, 2019. The LETSCROWD coordinator (ETRA) was invited to present the projects results participating in the panel on Protection of Public Spaces at the 14th CoU Meeting.
